quarter time is about 10.5 in Sport Rider mag when they had their shoot out.
yeah, they were talkin mad shit about our six. i still say "**** HONDA IN THE BOOTY!" and i dont care if theyre .003 seconds faster, its only cause i took that last split second to give em the finger! sport rider dont know what theyre talkin about, so what if theyve got years of experience and expert riders workin for em (two of em were canadian, phffft!, like they know how to ride!).

That was with a Kawasaki's factory drag racer and a MODIFIED bike. And Sport Rider's time is "corrected."

In reality an EXCELLENT rider can get a stock 600 in the 10.90 range.

In the new Cycle world they had Rickey Gadson ride the R6 and ZX 636. They were both almost all stock only mods were front end tie down straps and a set of aluminum lowering springs and one tooth smaller in the front. They claim that is all that they did. He ran 10.16 at 131 mph on the ZX 6 and ran 9.93 at 135 on the R6. At least thats what I got from the artical.

YEAH BUT YOU CAN'T RIDE ONE THAT FAST IS MY POINT!!!

Shit people focus. It doesn't matter if Gadson can ride that fast, IT DOESN'T MAKE YOU THAT FAST. Unless all you like to do is TALK about how fast your bike is at the hangout spot.

Or make 1700 posts in 3 months, but put 2000 miles on your bike in two years.

I'm on one other forum and I barely post there anymore. The last 2 years the weather has been shitty as hell, not to mention it is tough to ride your bike to the hospital for clinical time. There are some places I can not go to smelling like fumes.
haha, i love internet drama! :hammer except that i always spill beer on my keyboard! -jam (hmm... that was kind of random wasnt it?)

I went to the Drag Strip today, it was my first time to ride there. I did 11.84 @ 119mph. I was happy with that for my first time, plus my bike is pretty much stock. I have a power commander, but it has a stock map loaded right now. Other Sixes there were running lower 11's with slip-ons and those sorts.

Anybody else been to the Strip Lately?
