Looking for a back/chest protector...

I recently bought a Joe Rocket Champion Superbike leather jacket, and would like to either wear a separate chest/back protector underneath the jacket or swap out the one built in to the jacket...any thoughts?

i got my A* tech race off ebay for $25 shipped. saved my back once already. :fact

just look for a GOOD used one... save yourself some SERIOUS change.

I have a Forcefield L2

not the cheapest on the market but I have been very happy with it. Tons of coverage and very comfortable.

I've got a Tiachi chest protector and a separate spine protector. Good stuff, but if I was buying new I'd go with the A* like Agg did.

Nearly all of the major injuries I've seen the past few years involved a chest impact (but the riders were usually wearing other armor)
