Ive been considering an intergrated tail (even though theyre not legal here in CA) and this one looks pretty cool, and hella cheaper than all the others....Ill order it here in the next couple days, install, then get back to this thread with some feedback....

You really do have something against paying retail, don't you?

I didn't think you were mescan?! :toocool:

i thought proton flush mounts didnt need relays
Depends on the tails... they work stand alone with factory tails, but some crappy tails are too much for the circuit in the protons and a relay is needed anyway.

Ahhhhhh I just read that! I was hoping these tails would be good for the price, but its too good to be true. I can't wait to read other reviews on the R6 though...

If you are going to buy one and review it then also buy a CustomLED Blaster X unit and do a side by side video. This is only way you will get a legit/believeable comparison.

Don't bother putting it next to a C.A. tail light because that won't tell us anything to be honest. This MotoDynamics unit uses the same technology that the Blaster X uses so that's the only one that it should be compared to.

I wasn't going to say it until I had completed my own and proved it with a final product, but I'll throw this out there: the retrofit kit from CustomLED is overpriced, let alone the "plug and no-so-play unit" they offer.

I am going to pick one of these up so I will post some video once I get it on.

Depending on who gets theirs first i.e. longbrake or myself, we'll definately post pics of comparison to the stock and install (I dont mean to speak for longbrake, but Id imagine he would). Id imagine the smoked one is going to be "darker" than one that is not smoked....
