Why is this so expensive? I cant find one place that has it below $550. That thing is gorgeous.

I believe they only make that particular design in AGV's GP-Tech helmet, one of their top of the line models. AGV makes a bunch of Rossi's designs in their K3 helmet which is a lot cheaper. I'm rocking the Dreamtime helmet actually, got it for a little under $200.

No fcking way. That must be the dreamtime in K3...

OP, be patient and look for used ones to crop up... but that's a high quality helmet so it'll never really be "cheap". Look at my avatar and ask me how I know. :sing

Hi Mario,

Thank you for your interest in AGV.

Ofcourse, it is no problem. All we need is to have you go into any AGV dealer with a helmet so that they can cut the chinstrap off. Make sure it's the same catagory of helmets as well (full face helmet for a full face helmet, half for a half, etc).

So that doesn't necessarily mean anyone who carries AGV... or does it? And the reason I blew this off when it first came up is I don't want to ship my helmet in to get a discount - that would negate most, if not all, of the discount.

If I just need to cut off the chin strap and mail it in - I'm all over that ish... as long as TJ can offer that :sing

Thanks for that info about the chin strap...I'm gonna have to think about it. I could just take the strap off my old shoei. Not sure what the significance of accepting a chin strap for a discount is Unless they are doing it to offer people new helmets for better protection.

Does anyone want a suomy gambler edition helmet, one year old and worn on a ride exactly one time?

I almost got the AGV K3, but went with Fly instead

I recall TJ having one HELL of a deal on the Rossi GP-Tech Hands model for around 450.
I know it's not the one you want but it's a steal IMO.
