T-rex quality? Sliders, spools, stands

First off, i know the debate between cuts/no cuts when it comes to sliders, but the bottom line at this point is im not cutting into my 1 week old fairings. The sliders would be to protect the bike from a mishap, like a garage/parking lot tip over.

Now, what is everyones opinions on T-rex Products?

Sliders: (i think they look great, and are 60% less that others like Vortex/Shogun, but wonder about quality)

Swingarm spools: (are there better and/or cheaper options?)

Rear Stands: (i have typically heard good things, at half the price of pullbull and Graves)http://t-rex-racing.com/catalog.php?item=3

Opinions welcome.

Have the sliders, saved my bike twice with no damage on the sides. Dented my tank, cracked my subframe broken tail and headlight. But no major damage to the frame/side fairings. Just some scratches.

I'm running No cut sliders, spools and clutch/swing-arm sliders to disperse the force. I'm going to get some front axle sliders and ETI Fuel Cel's from AGG next.

The stands are the best bang for the buck.

I have them and they're decent. The front fork stand that they sent me was crooked and didn't work well. I had to buy the triple tree adapter and it works okay with that even though the bottom portion of the front stand is still uneven. I could send them the front stand back to them and get a new one, but then I would lose money from doing that so I just always use the triple tree adapter when using the front.

The rear stand works well for the price, but keep in mind if you have a 3rd Gen R6, that the spool hooks or whatever they're called get in the way of the rear axle. I had to take them to a shop and had them grind it down for me to give me enough clearance.

I think how well sliders hold up all depends on the crash. There are way too many variables. I went down on my brothers CBR with Trex sliders, and they "saved" the plastics. All it had was a couple scratches on the plastics. We ended up sanding the Trex sliders smooth, and are still using them. I watched a ZX10R go down a few weeks back at probably 5-10 MPH at most, and his WoodCraft broke right off. Don't get me wrong, I think any of them would have broke off, but still the slider took most of the damage first. Sliders will limit the damage, but you're still likely to have some damage no matter what. They are all made of similar materials, my R6 has been down on my eBay specials, and they took the brunt of the damage, no problems.

My main point is, I'm of the belief any slider will help reduce the amount of damage done, and that's the goal.

The t rex frame sliders I have are pretty damn sturdy. I'm not sure about the older versions of frame sliders they had that stick out 2 feet out the sides of the bike.

Edit: Also the right side frame slider doesn't have a bracket and it held up pretty well in my crash in the grass last year at about 45-50mph. The bolt just got bent and didn't mess up any of the threads inside the engine case(don't know exact term). Replaced it with the stock engine bolt without any problems.

I'm not sure how the left side frame slider would've held up though in the same situation since it has a bracket, but it did survive a drop on the driveway with only scuffs to the frame slider.

I bought the double sided clutch/brake slider and I went down at 70 about 3 weeks ago and it held up great. It ground down a bit on the clutch side but you can still see the edge of the T-Rex logo. I was amazed more of it didn't get ground down.

All of the parts seemed really high quality as well.

Like others have said, the stands are good quality. I've had them for 1.5 years and have had no problems with them. Yeah, you have to cut the brackets on the rear stand to get the axle out, but it's easy to do and won't weaken the stand at all.

Never tried their sliders or spools. I also agree with comments on the Woodcraft Sliders. I've crash tested them and they worked great.
